Ellis is an assistant investment manager at Greenbank. She is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England. Ellis was awarded the CISI Investment Operations Certificate in November 2018 and the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in October 2022.

Ellis joined Rathbones in March 2016 and previously worked for JP Morgan.

Ellis is an assistant investment manager at Greenbank. She is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England. Emma joined Greenbank in September 2022 and is responsible for analysing investments against a range of environmental, social and governance criteria, as well as for conducting thematic research into key responsible investment issues. Emma has over 10 years’ experience working in business valuation, sustainability and social investment, predominantly within professional services firms PwC and Grant Thornton. Emma holds a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Physics with Philosophy) from Durham University and is also a chartered accountant (ACA).

Esme joined Greenbank in October 2020 as a client service executive. She has worked in financial roles since 2017, first with Airbus and then with a wealth manager. Esme graduated from the University of the West of England in 2018 with a first class degree in Business Management with Accounting and Finance (Ba Hons).

Esme is a diploma level qualified member of the CII (DipPFS), having achieved the level 4 diploma in financial advice. She continues to study in this area with a special interest in ESG investments.

Iain works alongside Nick Roe-Ely in the management of investment portfolios for private individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. He is a member of the firm’s Adviser Specialist Group and contributes to the Rathbones investment process through his position on the Overseas Equities Committee.

A graduate of the University of Liverpool with a BA (Hons) degree in Modern History and Politics, Iain began his career with BNY Mellon working with institutional clients in its asset servicing division before moving to Rathbones in 2015.

Iain is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has been awarded the level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. He also holds the CFA Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Investment Administration Qualification.

Jane is an investment director working with both Greenbank and the London Charities team. She graduated in 1998 with an honours degree in Economics from Nottingham University and is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

She trained at Tilney in Liverpool, managing portfolios for private clients, trusts, pensions and charities, before moving to Brown Shipley and Co, where she became a voting member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, providing equity research and guidance for the wider firm, and was involved in managing the in-house UK equity funds.

Jane joined Barclays’ portfolio management team in 2008 where she became a specialist in managing bespoke and ethical portfolios on behalf of Charity clients, and was a voting member of Barclays UK Equity Committee and the Charity Investment Committee.

Joe is an investment manager at Greenbank, specialising in managing ethical portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has been awarded the Institute’s masters level Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

He joined Greenbank in 2014 having previously worked for educational charity Teach First as a secondary school Physics teacher. He is a Physics and Philosophy graduate with a BSc and MA from Bristol University.

Joe is an investment manager at Greenbank, specialising in managing ethical portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has been awarded the Institute’s masters level Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Prior to this, he read History at Durham University, graduating in 2016.

John joined Rathbones in 2001 and was a founder member of Rathbone Greenbank. In addition to managing bespoke portfolios for private clients, charities and trusts, John also sits on Rathbones’ Responsible Business, Responsible Investment and Stewardship committees. John is a graduate of Exeter University, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. He began his financial career in 1997 with UBS Warburg before joining Greig Middleton and then Rathbones.

He started his career as an investment adviser at Tilney Investment Management and has since held roles at Close Brothers Asset Management and Sanlam Private Office, working with both private clients and professional intermediaries.

Jonathan holds the Investment Management Certificate, the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma and the CISI Masters in Wealth Management. He is also a CFA Charterholder and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing as well as the STEP Certificate for Financial Services.
