To ensure the suitability of your investments, we have a dedicated ethical research team. They are responsible for the daily monitoring of company news on environmental and social matters. As companies change their activities, merge with others, or develop new policies and practices, their suitability and risks will alter.
The team also undertakes special research and engagement projects on key issues of interest to clients. These have included:
- A survey of family friendly and work-life balance employment policies.
- An investigation of supermarkets and their attitudes to GMOs (genetically modified organisms).
- A study of corporate community investments.
- A report on companies' human rights policies and practices.
- An analysis of sustainable agriculture and the production and retail of organic food.
