Following  our sponsorship of the pioneering mock ‘ecocide’ trial in September 2011, we were pleased to be supporting a follow up event held on the 31^st March. The sentences handed out to CEOs 'convicted’ of committing ecocide will be reviewed by a fictional ‘restorative justice’ hearing at the Institute for Democracy & Conflict Resolution (ICDR) at the University of Essex, with representations to be made from members of the communities affected by the fictional crime of ‘ecocide’, including visitors from Canadian First Nations communities.
