Elizabeth Haigh has now stepped down as Head of Rathbone Greenbank Investments handing the leadership of the team over to John David.

Elizabeth founded Rathbone Greenbank in 2004 and under her stewardship the team has grown into arguably the UK’s most successful ethical specialist in discretionary investment management for private clients, charities and trusts.

In addition to continuing to manage client portfolios, Elizabeth will be spending more time in conjunction with Mark Mansley in developing Rathbone Greenbank’s expertise in social enterprise investment, an area of growing significance within the ethical investment arena.

John joined Rathbones in 2001 and was a founder member of Rathbone Greenbank. In addition to managing private client and charity accounts, John has developed the team’s expertise in ethical managed funds portfolio management. He also sits on Rathbones’ Social & Environmental Committee. Away from work, he is a trustee of Frank Water Projects, a charity dedicated to providing sustainable clean water in the developing world.
