UKSIF – the UK Social Investment Forum
UKSIF is the UK's membership network for socially responsible investment (SRI) and ethical investment. UKSIF works to promote and encourage the development and positive impact of SRI amongst UK based investors. Rathbone Greenbank Investments is an active member of UKSIF.
Schumacher UK
Schumacher UK exists to provide a unique forum for promoting human scale and sustainable solutions to the social, economic and environmental problems facing us. Rathbone Greenbank Investments is pleased to sponsor the annual Schumacher Lectures in Bristol.
Triodos Bank
Triodos Bank is a different bank – it only works with organisations that benefit people and the environment. As well as offering a variety of bank accounts, it has organised ethical share issues for organisations such as Café Direct, which Rathbone Greenbank Investments has invested in for our clients.
The Funding Network
The Funding Network organises interesting and enjoyable events which bring together charitable projects working towards a fairer, healthier, and more sustainable world and individuals wishing to give in a more personal and direct way. Rathbone Greenbank Investments has sponsored Funding Network events in London and Edinburgh.
ECCR - Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility
ECCR is an organisation with representatives of many mainstream Christian denominations whose aim is to raise the profile of corporate responsibility within the churches. The Greenbank team and some of its clients have been able to assist the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility in filing a resolution at the Shell AGM in May 2006 addressing the issue of how the company deals with local concerns when entering a new area, with specific reference to projects in Nigeria, Russia and Ireland.
NEF - New Economics Foundation
NEF is an independent think tank that inspires and demonstrates real economic well-being. They aim to improve quality of life by promoting innovative solutions that challenge mainstream thinking on economic, environmental and social issues. Rathbone Greenbank is pleased to have sponsored their discussion on 'The Divine Right of Capital' and to be joined by one of their policy directors, Andrew Simms at our Investor Day in 2005.
SCC - Stop Climate Chaos coalition
SCC is a coalition of civil society organisations whose aim is to create a public mandate for political action to stop human-induced climate change. The SCC website includes news, events and information about their campaign. Rathbone Greenbank is pleased to be sponsoring SCC.

Claros maintains a website which provides a series of articles and information on socially responsible investment for institutional investors, such as pension funds and charities. Mark Mansley, the founder of Claros now works at Rathbone Greenbank Investments.
EIA – the Ethical Investment Association
The EIA is the organisation for independent financial advisers specialising in ethical investment in the UK. Their website provides additional information on ethical investment, and if you are looking for a financial advisor their list of members will be useful. Rathbone Greenbank Investments works extensively with many members of the EIA.
