Intermediaries and Charities
Charity trustees need to be confident that their charity’s investments are being well-managed, to a bespoke brief, by investment professionals whose skills and knowledge they can trust. The Charity Commission recognises that ethical investment can be consistent with the general and specific duties of trustees. Our service focuses on maximising the return from investments while ensuring they are compatible with your charity’s individual mission. We ensure each charity’s investment strategy is closely aligned to its mission.
Portfolio management service for charities
For charities with a minimum of £200,000 to invest our core service is the management of a diversified portfolio of assets, including equities, fixed interest securities, managed funds and alternative investments. We recognise that every organisation has different ethical priorities and financial needs so each portfolio is bespoke. We will work with you to meet your charity clients’ financial objectives whilst our in-house ethical research (guided by the completion of a detailed ethical questionnaire) will ensure that their social, environmental and ethical requirements are fully integrated with our investment management. We operate on a whole of market basis, giving your clients access to the full universe of investment opportunities
Managed funds portfolio service
For charities with a minimum of £50,000 to invest, we offer an ethical managed funds portfolio service, in order to ensure sufficient diversification. We hold regular meetings with the fund managers and closely monitor fund performance, investment style, investment strategy and key holdings to identify the best funds for your charity client.
